The National Board consists of 24 representatives from across all of our eight regions – it is made up of the National Chair John Apter (who was elected by members last month), 22 individuals elected by the National Council, and the National General Secretary (who will be selected by the new National Board from among their number in September).

The role of the National Board is to lead and run the Federation, and to make policy decisions. It is the strategic driver of the organisation, formulating strategy and putting it to the National Council.
